Coping with Anxiety
Experiences of anxiety are common for so many people. Concerns about relationships, health, finances, politics, and what the future holds with climate change are causes for many people to experience anxiety.
Having the support of an experienced psychotherapist, to process sometimes complex layers that contribute to feeling anxious, and to determine a vision for how to approach what is in your control, can be a significant tools for coping with anxiety and be part of finding balance.
What we also know intuitively is that going outside in a natural setting calms our nervous system, slows our racing thoughts, and helps us feel more grounded.
It can be so impactful to integrate both of these, to be able to do psychotherapy outdoors in a peaceful setting with an experienced psychotherapist to support you.
I feel grateful to offer this space for people seeking opportunities to calm their nervous systems, to hear more clearly their true inner voice, to unpack the intricacies of their relationships, and to intentionally step into a more healing relationship with nature. The earth offers us opportunities for coming more into the present, for insight, and for connection.
I invite you to take a moment to breathe a little more deeply, to feel the wind on your face, and to sink into the earth just a little more. If you are looking for support in your journey with anxiety, I hope you’ll reach out.
Sincerely,
Melissa
